Nicole Fontein
CEO & Event Architect · Co-owner
Nicole is a senior Professional Conference Organiser and Event Architect with more than 26 years of experience at and with Delft University of Technology, much of it in traffic, transport and mobility. She founded BlueBox Events in 2015 and has organised international scientific conferences such as TRISTAN and hEART. Nicole combines programme knowledge with budgeting, registration, sponsorship and on-site delivery, while the scientific judgement stays with the experts.
Mariëlle den Hertog
Event Architect · Co-owner
Mariëlle is an experienced event and project manager with a strong background in association leadership. She spent eight years on the board of MPI Netherlands, four as Vice President Membership and almost four as Chapter President, and was Event Manager for MPI's EMEC25 in Istanbul. At BlueBox Events she turns plans into smooth daily operations, from suppliers and logistics to the event itself.
A new door in Delft
After 26 years at TU Delft, one chapter closed and a new one opened. Behind this red door at LAB011, on the Lijm & Cultuur site, BlueBox Events is at home again in Delft.
